Give and Get Days are employee volunteering opportunities where staff donate time and skills during work hours to support local schools, youth groups and specific projects. It is an effective, powerful and cost effective way to deliver team building that makes a difference.
CMPP offer a range of volunteering opportunities to inspire companies to work together to tackle key social issues.
We ask the local community to complete a short Give and Get application form (to the right of this page) to let us know what projects need a helping hand before passing onto Partners to pick up.
Projects could include: gardening or allotment creations within your school grounds, painting and renovation projects of youth charities or social enterprises, conservation projects that work with young people on local resources, education and business clean-up days, mentoring programmes, mock interviews, literacy projects, careers events and inspirational talks to name just a few.
If needed, CMPP are also able to offer £500 for resources or materials needed for employee volunteering days as we know this is often a barrier. Please note if you are submitting an application for a G&G day your project MUST be based or take place within the local area and it should involve young people between the ages of 1 and 21 where possible.
